I have a problem with Internet Explorer.

When I open a page, or open another new page in a new window, it opens at about a quarter of full size??? I would like new pages to always open at FULL SIZE. I cannot find the option that corrects this, can anyone advise please, as it is driving me mad, as I have to manually adjust the page to read it. This is a new problem as it didn't used to do this I am sure?

- Open IE
- Click on a link that opens a new page in the small size
- Close the first page
- Resize the new page so it is the size you want
- Hold down the left shift key and close that page

Sorry didn't work for me mate????

or...open IE, maximise, close. Next time you open IE it will open maximised.

My first page does, it is subsequent pages that seem to open small, from links and right clicks etc??

Microshaft for you. If it hits a subsequent page that has its own custom properties it might start using the properties of that page for new windows (providing it is the last one to be closed).

Or you could just resize to full the screen, which will look virtually the same as maximising.

Or used tabbed browsing in Firefox.

Got it to work now, by sizing manually then closing as you said.

Thanks a lot mate.

You might find it will still happen if you have too many pages open at the same time. I think it's a memory or resources issue.

or even tabbed browsing in IE7 if you want to actually see all the content of every site you visit not just the ones optimised for Firefox :)

Glad you got it sorted Brian

I'm amazed nobody suggested using a Mac
