Well.......... Only the rear section.

Wanted to give a brief feedback. Had it on for just a couple of days and I love the ability to switch between quiet and loud modes. The quiet mode (valves closed) sounds a lot like a stock e92 M3 with that little bit of rasp to it. Also has a slight hiss when under load.

Open the valves and then it's just great. Driving in the cockpit is understated but from the outside its fantastic, all the theatre of the stock exhaust but the sound is just more 'exotic' - what you expect from 6 figure priced super cars. I'm having my calipers and hubs painted literally right now and the guy who owns the company collected my car from the airport as part of a 'drop off' service, his words were quote 'that exhaust sounds like the world is ending' ! Hahaha

Wanted to say a big thanks, as usual, to acid and crew at MSL. Awesome service once again. Hope he will do a deal for me on the headers now ko

I'm considering the headers too. I understand you can have them with or without cats and I'm guessing that the latter would be pretty brutal. I would opt to go with cats tbh but I'm just waiting for some testing to be finished on a supersprint manifold

I have the headers with cats, with valves closed it's still nice and quiet, but with the valves open it sounds about 5 times louder than what yours will sound now. Loads of pops and crackles on downshifts

A place called Brake Caliper Specialists in Nottingham (a long way from you matey). I have been very impressed with their service. The guy has been sending whatsapp messages throughout with pictures etc. They are stupidly enthusiastic about their service

I have gone for the full process where they strip clean and smooth your existing calipers so removing the lip from the original casts, then spray, then trace your AMG logo and etch the exact same onto your calipers (no stickers/decals), then seal and lacquer. Comes with a 2 year warranty.

Also having hubs sprayed in dark silver too

Not sure I could do with 5x louder mate tbh . How is it for a daily driver ?

No problems with the valves closed....but it's loud open. All my mates insist I have the valves open, and everyone comments it sounds great.

Paint quality is awesome. It's done by a subby called Dan who had his own wheel refurb company. He is brilliant and does a top top job. Problem with the logo though. I'm **** with these things and the font / alignment / are we're all wrong. They are sorting it out at my convenience for a reduced price

Went up to see Acid again today and listened to a full IPE system that he's just fitted for another discerning customer. With the headers it sounds even better and, needless to say, I want them aswell. Acid had anticipated this and had already placed the order with IPE ! They should be here later this week hopefully and then fitted some time very soon.

Got some ceramic coated tips sent over from IPE that have a nice red logo to match my new red calipers, how nice. Also took the black chrome tips off Acids hands too.

My garage is full of exhaust parts now

Can't wait for the headers to come
