Does anyone have a W204 (late 2014 car with COMAND online) and an iPhone X?

Since getting my phone last week, I've noticed the car can't hold a connection to the phone. Every 5mins, a message comes up on the COMAND screen to tell me the Bluetooth connection has been lost, then a few secs later it reconnects.

I've had no such issues with my previous iPhone 7.... I hope it's not a major issue, as I use the Bluetooth phone a lot. Anyone else got an X / W204 combination and if so, any issues?

I get exactly the same issue with my iPhone SE and I'm using a third party bluetooth receiver. This is more annoying as the receiver announces "Bluetooth disconnected", then "Bluetooth connected".

It only seems to do it when not actively listening to music, i.e, when connected, but idling.

(my X is in the post! :D )

Ah yes, I have this problem. IPhone 8, same problem. Apple have told me it's because Mercedes don't support Bluetooth 5! New IPhone use Bluetooth 5 not 4, they are not backward compatible.

My wife's Mini is dropping the bluetooth connection during phone calls, and in fact the whole sat-nav reboots sometimes. This is since IOS11.1 and theres some chat about this. So clearly some bluetooth issues with IOS11.1. A new IOS came out yesterday, so it may be fixed ..

Actually, according to MB website, they don't support IPhone 8 or X yet.
