Is MB's EQ Boost good or are there anyproblems with it?

The 68 plate C200 AMG I am buying has EQ Boost. I have looked at what this is and am pleased with that but, has anyone had any problems with their EQ Boost ?

Its quite a rough, diesel like engine. Ideally upgrade to a C300 as it uses the same engine as the earlier C200 2.0l unit which were more refined and get roughly the same mpg
