We don't have any fixed dates or locations for any gtg. Each gtg is the result of one or more member/s deciding to set sommat up.
To start with you could guage interest in a gtg in the area. Post a message in this part of the forum, what it is you're thinking about, food and drink, a road run etc etc then get an idea of a location, think about timing then run it up the flag pole and see if it flutters

The advantage of going other than your home town is you get a run out as well as meeting fellow mercedes enthusiasts. The other advantage is you don't have to do all the organising.
Although I have helped out at other peoples do's. Seriously I haven't come up with a decent place near Derby that meets the criteria of a GTG, if I had I would have arranged one.
