The rest of the advert is just as bad, I did giggle when he said "I WORK IN SECURITY SO EMAIL ME AS I WORK DIFFERENT HOURS!!! AS I CAN TRACK U"

That`s been for sale for at least 1 year

Hi,
That car has been for sale for soooo long it was at one point at £1500, I have seen better examples at the breakers TBH.
Though the SEL he has for sale I thought might of been worth a punt.

Thats the one that had no keys... and the front AMG apron is missing.

Worth about £300-400 for the rest of the AMG kit, the rest of the car is for the bin.

This is a very entertaining forum!

That chap uses almost every font microsoft produced.

Even a newbie I can say that whole ad would just scare me off full stop - (not that I was even remotely interested)

Scary all round...

This 786Majestic guy is pure class...absolutely love the ad..

If his plate is worth £1k and he reckons his wheels are £1k too, then why is he sttruggling to get £900 for the whole car?

I think there are numeracy AND literacy issues here for sure

Have seen '786' feature a lot with eBay seller IDs - often pretty dodgy looking gear too, anyone know the significance???

Really?? I know what 786 stands for, wouldn't expect it to be linked with dodgy sellers/gear. Any more examples?

Do tell!

Loads of examples though. Hundreds of 'cherished plates' for sale on eBay where the letters/numbers have been hugely and illegally distorted beyond recognition...the running theme is that '786' features in their title description, even if the number is not on the plate itself.

EVERYTIME I've advertised a car on Pistonheads...I've had some clown reply from [email protected] email addresses, offering me half my asking price or just asking questions that have been so obviously answered in the advert.

I thought it was too much to be a coincidence and that it may have been some dodgy call sign I've never heard of.

An initial Wikipedia search, certainly hasn't offered any clues.

786 is something to do with Islam and Muslims.

Probably better for a Muslim to explain it.
