Well today was the day, i finally got my E63 mapped with a eurocharged map.:bannana:
Before anyone asks, i have no before and after dyno figures so please dont ask, this is all about the seat of the pants feeling and experience.
Prior to this i was running with a sprint booster to eliminate the throttle lag that is inherent with auto boxes, and I was happy with the response that it gave me through the throttle.
With the map it has eliminated the need for the sprintbooster, all the lag has gone, the power delivery is smooth and immediate.
The car seems to move through the gears more rapidly but very smoothly.
The installation process was painless and carried out by MSL in Birmingham with phone support from Eurocharged when needed.
It was only done this afternoon so have had no great time to evaluate mpg impact, though i'm not really fussed.
The car seems lighter and quicker, similiar to how my CLS felt after the pulley and map upgrade.
As Savman has said on a previous thread eurocharged are big in the US and have many satisfied customers. After reading up on them and discussing it with MSL I am glad I went ahead and got "charged"
After I have run it for a few months I will give an update.
For now, a very happy camper
