Thinking of what to get next
Hi All,

Ive noticed now for a week or so that at very low speed braking when the car reaches 5/10 mph i getting a slight judder, even the wife commented on what is that vibration ??

It only happens at very low speed braking at higher speeds its ok til it reaches the 5/10 mph mark.

Front discs were replaced by mb under 1k ago so im ruling out warped discs, ive still got warranty but wanted to see if you had any ideas as to what it might be before i take it in.

Thanks

Classic sign of warped disks........could have happend in the last 1k miles especially if you have decellerated from high speed to a stop and then sat with your foot on the brake creating a hot spot on the disks thus increasing your chances of it warping.

I would get back to the dealer pronto and get them to check it out as the longer you leave it/more miles you do, the greater chance your dealer will say that its your fault.

Either that or the pads have not been put in correctly and are juddering just as the car comes to a halt.

As Vlad says, if it has just had new discs fitted by the dealer, take it back to them to rectify. At 1K miles I would be surprised if they argue!

Good luck :)

Will
