Lewis Hamilton's go-kart

Feel sorry for the bloke who won it for £42,100 when Lewis goes to prang it today at the London karting event before it even goes to it's new owner...lol

That can buy a used C55. I know which i will rather have.
But say in 5yrs time ,if he becomes like senna. it may be worth more than an SL65

I used to do karting. I did super 1 in 1995. I remember LH as a little kid in the pits.

He used to drive for Zip Kart many moons ago.

I will return to it one day. Love the sport.

What class you in Will?

Funny you should have said that.
You psychic?:D

I am not in any class as such, just race TKM 100cc for fun at regular club 100 race meetings (arrive and drive). I also do regular 4-stroke stuff within a karting club in my company, and just walked away with 1st place at an annual Lotus team challenge last Friday at Daytona MK. I would like to take it further ie. owning my own kart etc. but it just gets too expensive without any real sponsership money.

We did serious amount of cash doing it. It is very expensive. British champs was cheque book racing.

I did love the sport and will go back to it.....one day

Guys,
I know the feeling well, my son has just finished the Super 1 series in TKM and it's still cheque book racing, but - I dont regret a single penny because we have had great fun doing it - You guys will understand.

no offensive intended at all as it is just an observation but I have just noticed that two ex karters both have SLK32`s, are these things the little go karts they look like??
