"The registration consists of three letters, followed by three numerals and one letter.
AN stands for Reading and X means that the plate is first issued between 1st September 2000 and 28 February 2001."

It's an OLD X-reg, not a new 1!!! And he can't parse the 3 letters correctly!

And:

"XT stands for London County but is no longer allocated.
C means the plate is issued between september first 1985 until February 28 1986."

Thuuuuuu! It's nothing to do with XT because it's a personal plate and the C-reg went from 19850801~19860731!

<pauses for breath>

Have I turned over two pages at once?

I have no clue what connection this number plate thing has to do with the thread :confused:

I've read the advert twice, and the bits you quote aren't in it.

Please tell me what's going on?!

Nomination for funniest thread 2006

This thread deserves an award :D I nearly fell off my chair laughing.

Can we write a program to randomly shuffle all the threads on the forum and see what nonsense comes out. Its a bit like having a telephone conversation with my Gran. :D
