Looking for a part

You could try a supplier in the USA parts tend to cheaper there. Since its light/small carriage shouldn't be too costly?

Thanks for the help.

I'll see what I can find. I've done some fixing up of the old one and the misfire has gone.

No real specific ones. There's the one linked to the Mercedes shop forum
http://catalog.mercedesshop.com/ but I don't think its the cheapest. Best thing is to get the mercedes part no and just Google it-that usually brings up a few suppliers in the USA. Some supply international clients some don't. Watch the shipping charges and delivery times.

what I can tell you is the Bosch part no which is 1230 500 238 try your local Bosch dealer should be cheaper.

Have you tried German and Swedish or EuroCar parts, especially if you have the bosch number they should be able to undrecut the dealer price by a fair bit.

Eurocar parts have been great... they got me a MAF in 24 hours for a good price... Very impressive. Did need the right part number though.
