Hi All,

So nearly a year without a Mercedes and I've had 2 CLKs from 2008 - 2012 and 2012-2016 and I have to come back to the fold but I want a C63 coupe and I've worked hard and want to bite the bullet.

Posted some stuff here: http://forums.mbclub.co.uk/threads/mercedes-c63-amg-w204-facelift.228025/

Firstly, I swear picking are looking very slim, Looking 2013 onwards with unto 40k and two owners, only in black with black leather and coupe, have found a 64 plate at 32K with HK and REV cam but no PP.

Missed a PP car that sold for 28k, now do I wait and hope that a freak car will appear again and jump on that or take the 64 one owner car?

PH / AT really doesn't have much to offer at all.

I need to know from the guys in the know:

Do these need a MCT box fluid change at 37k - big deal if not done and car is at 40K?

The 64 plate car has had 3 services at main dealer,

7,700 miles in April 2015
then 23,000 miles in May 2016 (15,000 miles) and I think the interval for AMG is 12,500 - Is this a big deal? will Mercedes have issues honouring anything
Next done at 33,500 in April this year and next due at 47,777 or April 2018

Car is currently on 40k

Am I overpaying / do I wait? residuals seem to be holding (I think) but I have seen a MBAU car in Fire Red with 15k on a 2013 plate for £23k with Rev and HK. But I'm not going for red.

Anyone on here have any solid advise or wisdom?!

Many Thanks guys. Can't wait to jump into a C63.

Let me know if there is any other must have's. Not concerned about LSD, if it needs it I'll get a Quaife.

Gearbox oil/filter change is 3 years or 33,000 miles.

Don't worry about HK just listen to the engine [emoji1]

Decide what minimum spec you want and then wait for it to come up for sale. I'm sure it will eventually.

I've just jumped into my first Mrec: a late 2014 AMG 507 Coupe. I can see the car sticking around for as long as I can afford to feed it's petrol habbit!

I spent about 2mths looking for the right car. I knew I only wanted a 507 and that it had to be in white, with black leather, upgraded alloys and Harmon Kardon. Luckily the 507 comes with plenty of toys, so there any other options were a bonus. I wanted an LSD, but as you say it can be added later, so it's not a dealer breaker on the right car.

There hasn't been more than half a dozen 507s on the market all the time I was looking and none of them fit the bill. I was thinking about giving up, then a car popped up, with everything I wanted, as well as a few other options. A test drive comfirmed it and I got it home the next week.

In your situation, I'd make a list of your must haves and scour AutoTrader, PistonHeads & MB for cars to get a feel for prices of cars in your desired spec. Decide what you can / can live without in the way of spec and where you'll compromise. Keep searching and speaking to sellers and I'm sure you'll get what you're looking for!
