Any recommendations for low dust brake pads for my CLS55.Just had Brembo discs and pads fitted to the front and the level of dust is a pain compared to the previous pads which were on the car when I got it so of "unknown origin"

EBC Redstuff is good,
Greenstuff is ok,
Blackstuff cheap and no better than other Stuff.
EBC don't cover all cars with each range of pads though, and it's better not to mix or the proportion between front and rear braking could be corrupted.

I have Textar ePads on the CLK500 and am very happy with their performance and low dust production.

Absolutely , I had tons of life left in Pagid and Apec pads but was sick of their OE dust .

This is fronts , just 4 days , 2 Town, 2 next Town.

i think EBC stopped making Red stuff pads for the 55 range, only yellows now which are not low dust.

I still have a spare set of red stuff rears i think - i`ll have to take a look....

Yellow were high dust with just a bit more high temperature headroom than Redstuff .

Now listed as medium dust .

Thanks all. I will give the Textar e a go and take some pre and post comparison shots after the same journey just out of interest.

I was interested in the new type Textar, likely they would make them suit more models.
Are we saying that they aren't low dust?

Some pads especially with ceramic content can take 1000 miles to bed in , so best leave the comparison till then .
