YOu need the specific engined ones. Ie If you put the 5/6 cylinder springs on a four pot they will sit too high as the weight of the engine will not be the same. I've currently got on my W202 wagon some Eibach springs but they are for the v6 engined cars and not the 5 cylinder iron lump so the front sits nice and low-a bit too low at times but looks mean.
Personally I would not put on those springs on a four pot as they will not handle right and ride a bit high as the pretension of a heavier engine will not compress the springs enough.
I bought some 40mm panther springs for my W202 C200, they were the right spec and i even phone and checked, i fitted them and the front of the car was decked a lot more than 40mm! it was rubbing like crazy! and the rear end only droped about 20 mm! so i changed the front spring pads from 3s to 5s and cut half a coil off the rears and now it sits lovely
So this time new W202 C280 i have i just cut 1 and a half coils off each corner and it sits lovey
