M3 to w203

Hi guys. I've recently sold my 2003 M3 and purchased a more family friendly car for
the Mrs to drive.

It's my first merc after owning many many bmws. I've opted for the c180k sport edition w203

I've had the car about 6 months now and while I obviously can't compare it to my M3 I have to say it does the job. I am however wanting to do some nice subtle mods but there's not much out there in terms of mods for these cars, or am I not looking in the right place? Any help would be appreciated

The term 'subtle mods' can be very wide-ranging, what did you have in mind?

My understanding is that there is not much scope for improvement through remapping alone, and that for any significant gains you'll need to go down the route of hardware upgrades e.g. larger pulley etc.

(Or opt for the 200k or 230k engines instead).

If the car is the facelifted model (2004-2007) then there are some clever STAR mods that can be done though they are not performance-related. These cars can also be retrofitted with COMAND NTG2.5.

And there are obviously visual enhancements such as larger wheels etc.

Hi and tnx for the replies.

To be honest my wife has been driving the car more then me and because it's only a c180k performance related mods are not worth doing on the car.

The car itself is a 55 plate in black. I was looking to replace the headlights with xenon ones and also put coilovers on as I suspect my rear springs have snapped.
