I need to go to a place in Brentford tomorrow morning. Could anyone who lives/works nearby please let me know if I need to still avoid going anywhere near it (due to the flyover)?

1. Usual route I'd take:
M25 to High St/A315 - Google Maps
....which I'm thinking might be affected by tailbacks from Hammersmith....or....

2. Alternative:
M25 to High St/A315 - Google Maps
...?

Thanks in advance!

Looks like you are heading to Finch Motors in Brentford.

I usually do route 2.

You probably won't be affected much by the roadworks at Hammersmith flyover. The worst of the queues will probably only go back as far back as the junction with the A4 and Sutton Court Road.

Even if you use route 1, you'd be getting off at Junction 2 of the M4 anyway, still a way back from the junction mentioned.

Route 2 is probably best anyway, because using Route 1 would mean negotiating and going almost all the way round Chiswick Roundabout, and you would also avoid the 3 into 2 lane bottleneck at the start of the Chiswick flyover.

Besides a lot of people use the A40 to come into central London because of the works at Hammersmith, and the M4/A4 coming has probably less traffic coming into town than usual.
