Mad or talented??? :)

reckless loony. by those driving antics, doesnt he work for Fifth Gear on one of them TV Stations.? you know the guy i mean, the failed racing driver with the overly dramatic voice

190 for sale. NOT!

I can see the advert on Ebay now. (translated from spanish of course)
Mercedes 190 2.6 green good condition, slightly noisy transmission, needs rear tyres! offers over £1000 no time wasters.

Certainly a cheap way to sandblast the lower half of the car, and I wonder what the local police will think of his driving 'skills' whilst negotiating the roundabout?

John

mm - slight mismatch going on between his skill's, his potential and his considerative nature

Not that talented - and why choose such a relativly busy roundabout? The mucking about in wasteland / empty car park - fine - doesnt hurt anyone, and could be argued that it 'hones your skills' as a driver (for when somthing goes wrong unexpectedly).

But not on a busy roundabout ya numpty...

The roundabout is a great drift, but utterly mad to do it with traffic entering the roundabout in front of him......

10/10 for talent :bannana:

0/10 for consideration and sensibility :(

Hi

I wish i could drive like that in my opinion he is very talented. In my younger Toyota Twincam (RWD LSD) driving days i had lots of goes at maintaining 4 wheel drifts and could certainly not keep them going as long as that.
Hours of drifting twincams never damaged anything other than tyres on the Toyotas.

Roll back to 1993/5.

And yes the crowded roundabout is silly at least when we did it, it was late at night. :D :D

Reckless but talented, and it can't be easy to make a softly sprung, possibly even automatic, 190 handle consistently like that.

Terrible music though. Surely something by the Drifters...?

I'll get my coat.

definitely mad - not convinced of the talent - don't forget we dont get to see the out-takes...and i struggle to consider anybody who acts that recklessly as being talented

Thats talent, but you're right, its stupidity to do that on the roads.

Now that reminds me of the Brabus and those empty Tescos car parks....

Not trying to be big headed but I can drift pretty well too as I'm sure many members of this board can.
It's where we choose to do it that makes you talented :D

talented i think, but using that talent in the wrong place

you know the guy i mean, the failed racing driver with the overly dramatic voice

That the big hairy one?? :)

(and yes,I am called Tiff..)

I do enjoy playing like that in my X1/9,and my C200 was a superb drifter, but I wouldn't have the balls to do it in traffic like this guy.He is good at it though!!

I will tactfully disagree and suggest it did not take what you describe to carry out that unbelieveably stupid piece of driving on a roundabout!!!

He does display some very good driving skills which are only bettered by his stupidity.

Sorry to disagree,
John the misery
