Hi everyone, just registered on the site so a newbie! I am based on the Isle of Man and our local Merc dealer is shocking. We just can't get parts so we have no choice to get elsewhere! Is there a dealer out there who supplies Mercedes parts via mail order?

Cheers.

Yes.

Mercedes Benz of Edinburgh

Email Steve: [email protected]

He is a great guy. :) Very good prices & quick delivery.

Also MercedesBenzofNewcastle, who list loads of stuff on eBay.

I started using the Mercedes-Benz commercial dealers. I have found then really helpful, will supply any part and of course post it to you although difficult to determine what exactly is list price.

I find MB Newcastle (through ebay) are really good..... My local dealership in Northampton are expensive and pretty hopeless (damn rude at one point as mine is "too old"....pretty much dismissed out of hand)

I was at M.B. Northampton just 3 weeks ago to get a replacement key for my locking wheel nuts. The chap on the parts desk could not have been more helpful, getting the box of keys and coming outside to try them all until he found the right one. Having used the parts dept for many many years, even when they did the Commercial parts as well, and that is going back a few years, as I had my old 409 in 1988, I have always had good service there. However, we see as we find, and the Parts Manager would, I am sure, be unhappy to know you had received less than 100% good service.

Add....When up in Fife, MB Newcastle have been good for parts by post.

Steve.

MB of Swansea also have an EBay shop. or try buycarparts.co.uk The website is UK but the company is in Germany (where the parts are shipped from , included in the price) and when you call the number they give you to confirm the guy's on the other end sounds Dutch !

They sell quality stuff. Lemforder, Febi/Brillstein etc I have used them twice and have no complaints.

Majority of new stuff online is decent now. Ive found most of what I order not from main dealers that its genuine parts am getting. Mercedes numbers stamped on the parts. if it sais Borg&Beck then you are getting decent quality parts aswell. Main thing is to get the proper part number then you can shop around. Shopping around with just the name of the part will always cost you more.
