MB Club vs Mercedes-Benz Club

In the recent (now closed) thread where OllieCLK complained about a lawyers' letter from a Yorkshire garage where he had a service carried out , there was a remark about having consulted 'the UK Mercedes-Benz Club' , and a reply from the manager of the garage "Dear Mr ..........You say that you spoken to many members of Mercedes-Benz owners club...."

I must point out that THIS forum "MBClub.co.uk" is NOT "The Mercedes-Benz Club" , nor "The Mercedes-Benz Owners' Club" which are two different names for the 'official' Club , which is the only one recognised by Mercedes-Benz .

I do not mean to belittle this forum , but there are numerous web-based forums , some with similar sounding names , and it is important to know that you are referring to the correct one by using the correct names .

Couldn't agree more. Anyone can knock up a internet based forum, but it's the members that make it truly great.

Any question I've ever needed the answer to has been answered here.
