MB Darlington

Hello,

Just had our A Class in at MB Darlington for it's B Service and it's automatic gearbox oil change. I'm impressed by the quality of work and professionalism of the staff. They really seem like genuinely care about the customer and their knowledge seems top notch. Oh and they updated the cars digital service record.

Based on my experience I'd highly recommend them if your looking for a independent Mercedes specialist in the north east.

How much did it cost ? it's an important consideration when recommending a dealer so we can compare prices from independent's. Especially for those with an older car.

They are an independent Mercedes and Smart specialist.
The cost come to just over £480 that was for it's B Service, automatic gearbox oil and filter change, air filter change, brake fluid change and a rear wiper.

What I should of said as well is they used Petronas oil as well. Which as far as I know is the Mercedes recommend oil.

I have used Chris and the team for a few years now and recommended them to friends, family and forum members. Never had any issues with them, unfortunately someone who I did recommend them to (a fellow forum member) didn't quite have a such positive experience.
I continue to use them, recently having a B service & suspension links fitted.

I’ve used MB Darlington for our cars ever since @Abb recommended them a while back. Friendly, knowledgable staff and they always satisfy.

I recently had my car booked in for an MOT. A few days before it was due in something came up and I had to leave the area for a few days. I called them to explain, they told me to drop the car off that day (3 days early) and they would keep it until the appointment. They then asked when I would like to collect my car. Saturday was my preferred day, which was a bank holiday and they wouldn’t be open. “No problem, you tell me a time and I’ll pop down and let you collect your car” (on his day off).

You don’t get that type of service at many places, which I thought was very helpful, going above and beyond.

I too can recommend them. They have recently done some work on my SL63. Extremely helpful, pleasant people to deal with at very reasonable cost.
