Seeing that nobody replied I shall
These are a nightmare....... I have tried to make them look better, they look reasonable now but I know they're not right, I suppose sourcing some goods ones is fairly difficult.
Finding a set of door cards is impossible. Last set I sold over 4 years ago went for 200 quid. I've known a set of black vinyl ones (ala Cossie ones) go for over a grand.
You need a jumbo PVA and clamps to reshape the cardboard, vinyl glue and hot air gun to stretch the vinyl and like I said on the other thread right angle edging to hold in place.
Plus loads of patience and skill.
If the bottom of the cards are blown just screw through the front into the metal.
Only advantage you have is that yours are red and not that sought after
I thought the red looked nice! I'm already finding parts are hard work to find, I am even contemplating buying another to pinch the parts off but seems a lot of hassle, still, it may be worthwhile in the long run maybe..hmmmm

Pip if you have room to host another 190e its the way i would go . These motors are now worth double for parts .
I had a look on the ebay this morning, some nice w123 and 4's going cheap.. oh gosh..., what does one do
Think I shall have to force some restraint and get this completed first...
