Mercedes 190....

Hi folks

I may be after a Mercedes 190, petrol or diesel, must be manual gearbox, not a Cosworth or other "performance" variant...

Any buying tips or pointers welcome, especially from existing owners and experts...

The usual sources (autotrader, ebay etc) seem to have a good selection of cr*p at the moment but no nice clean cars...

Nice enough car but they are getting on a bit. I see you have/had a 215 CL. This will be the antithesis of that car.

If they are rust free around the rear jacking points , they are usually good eleswhere .

2.6 is the best all rounder .
