Last month I bought a brand new e class sport saloon in black however did not get the intelligent light system for it now that have seen the lights I want to fit it to my car can they be retrofitted

I'm amazed it didn't come as standard. It was on my C350 Sport saloon that I bought last year. Indeed I think it was standard on all sport models no matter which engine. Does this make the E-Class an inferior model?

It used to be standard on the Avantgarde and Sport W/S212's until the facelift, and now it's an option. It appears that standard sat-nav's sell more cars than standard Intelligent Lighting Systems. So much for Mercedes-Benz's legendary commitment to safety, in the UK at least...

The dealership told me that they took away the ILS and replaced it with leather. They giveth and taketh away!
