Mercedes 420CL 1996 - not starting

Hi Folks
I've only just joined and am posting this seeking assistance please. I've a 1996 420 CL which now wont start. The RAC attended yesterday and was unable to start the car. Their diagnosis report was as follows;

''non start cranks over has spark but no injector pulse,coughs on easy start,has power to theinjectors,possible wiring or ecu fault''.

I will be selling the car in the future which will be very difficult if its a non-starter!.

I live in Bristol , BS7.
