Mercedes Benz Amg Black Leather Seats

Should be an easy fit mate.
Dont know about the wiring side though.

Do your existing seats have heated elements?
Im assuming not and dont know if underneath your seat there will be a plug there to accommodate that function.

Shouldnt be too hard to sort out though and can always be done later if you want to :)

hi all im new to this forum and i own a 53 plate e320 avantgarde it only has the half leather trim
can anyone tell me if these seats will fit in easy

you will need to have the memory seat option on your car.

if these are fully electric they will be operated from a keypad on the door next to the mirror switchgear which will control every movement .

if you don't then these seats won't move as your current partial electric seats only have the switches on the seat itself.

( im assuming if the person who ordered the car in the first place was cheap enough to order it without leather then they arent going to have spent the 650 for the driver and then about another £350 for the passenger seat electric)

your right m8 it hasnt got the memory seat option so i best give these seats a miss

thats not to say you couldnt start to retrofit the memory options if you really want the seats.

obviously thats not gonna be cheap.

Good luck on the seats. They look nice.

The guy selling them though seems a most obnoxious ignorant w***** by looking at his reponse to a question that was sent regarding the seats.

Question from an Ebay member looking to buy those seats and the sellers reply:

Q: hello I am interested very seats that put AMG vendita.purtroppo however are in Italian I would be willing to pay the cost of transporting the most seats...more 09-Feb-09
A: Please dont bid on my seats, spend your money on English lessons.

Thought this reply was very rude, after all I guess the person asking the question is Italian. That attempt at English is a lot better than any attempt that I could make in Italian.

He was obviously really proud of his answer too - you have to choose to show the questions/answer to buyer's questions on the listing.

They look more like W203 seats? Hard to tell in the pics but W211 seats are much wider IIRC

They are w211 seats. w203 milti contour controls are on the side of the base as these are the dynamic type on the front.

Also , the W203 seats don't have the underbase storage for the optional fire extinguisher on the drivers side and first aid kit on the passengers side.

Just a word of warning to people buying second hand seats. These can be salvaged from crashed cars. It is very possible that as such the seat backs could be damaged and not suitable for reuse.

Not trying to scare monger.....just making people aware of potential issues.

You could buy them and have the leather and the support cushions (underneath) transferred onto your existing seat bases (thus keeping the spec of your existing seat bases) - I dont know about the heated seats though

I did similar transplant (with new parts) onto my ML to make the seats into AMG nappa leather :-)
