I’ve a Mercedes C Class 2.0 D Sport on an 18 plate, manual, which has done approximately 17k miles so far.
Posted a little while ago, to say that the clutch went all limp one day all of a sudden, lost the spring from the top to about half way down, but it had rectified itself whilst driving home.
As a precaution, I got it checked out, and the garage couldn’t see anything untoward, no leaks, nothing, and it’s been fine ever since.
However, started to notice lately, that when going from 2nd to 3rd gear, it catches slightly. No crunching of gears etc, just seems to be more of a selection problem?
Not sure if I’m being over dramatic, but pretty sure it wasn’t like that before, and if I change gear softly, it doesn’t do it, nor when I’m going from 4th into 3rd etc.
Anything to be worried about, or anyone know what this might be ?
