Hi all,

I was made aware of a nasty crack on the driver's side front alloy on my CLC 2008. I have been having a nightmare with trying to find wheels that actually fit. The wheels I have are on the rear of the first pic and then a close up of the actual front with a crack.

I live in Ireland and trying to find parts and wheels is not particularly easy here. I'm happy to swap the whole set but not looking to spend a huge amount.

I did buy a set of wheels, as seen on the front of the first pic (not nice wheels imo but I needed to get the car on the road) and I've been told these are incorrect offset. I've checked online for offset for these wheels but just struggling overall so any help would be appreciated

Firstly, the CLC is known as C203 or sometimes also CL203, and it is based on the W203, i.e. it is not a W204.

Then the 18" wheels aren't original, right? I don't recall the CLC available at launch with 18" wheels.

Anyway, take a look here:

You should be able to work out the offset from the spec.

I can’t see a crack in the second photo.
Can you not have a weld repair done ? I have had 3 wheels repaired with excellent results.

Sorry, the second pic is just a close up of the wheel really.
It has been previously welded and the alloy has cracked again next to the already welded part so from my understanding it's not safe to weld again, although happy to be wrong about that
