Hi Guys
New on here and im looking to buy a Mercedes CLS 2010 Grand Edition.


Any ideas on what the car is like? I used to have a 2012 CLS AMG Line 350 but its now gone!

Is the Mercedes CLS 2010 Grand Edition a good car?

What is the real life MPG like on the motorway and city.

Any thing i should look out for when viewing the car.

In particular does it have a command media system/bluetooth. I would like to be able to stream music from my phone also.

It's a 350 diesel on a 2010 plate.

For the E Class 2010 was a crossover year. Mine is from early 2010 (March?) and doesn't have it. Others from later in the year do.

I do have MMI in mine so I've stuck a dongle in the glovebox and can stream that way. But no way of controlling it through the car's controls other then selecting the source and volume.

And you have to turn it on again if the ignition has been off.

COMAND was an option... some cars will have Audio20. So don't assume it has COMAND.... check the spec.

It may need a Bluetooth adapter such as Viseoo MB4 ? The guys at www.commandonline.co.uk know all about this sort of question regarding MB’s .
As to the car , I have the Om642 engines 320cdi predecessor to yours , very nice engine , about 40+ mpg in a run from mine .
Common faults , you can google om642 350cdi .
Turbo actuator , oil cooler seal leak , blocked inlet manifolds , inlet port/swirl flap motor ....the usual really . Had mine 9 years and at 105k now with no real issues to speak of .
Generally very nice Diesel engine the 350

<20 mpg around town ,mid 30`s on the motorway.

Sixty will come up in 6.5 seconds , not super quick but decent for a 2T motor.

OM642 engine faults as per the above post.

Some are pretty poorly equipped but being the GE should have at least some toys , memory pack is nice as is the HK audio mated to the NTG 2.5 but no BT streaming for the audio.

In theory, yes, but the sound quality is like a LW radio.

Either use the multi-DVD changer with MP3s or, if you have the correct socket, use an iPod or USB stick.

Yes it is , but maybe some steering wheel button functionality may be lost ?

should i be looking for anything or do these have any known problem to look for
