Hello all,
I have been reading around about OM651 engine and found some people saying that it has variable oil pressure valve which reduces the oil pressure when the engine is under 2k rpm. Some say failure of this system can caus problems like oil starvation and suggested cure is to replace the valve with a plug (A0019905317) that Mercedes manufactured after acknowledging this issue. As I am going to do some repairs on the engine I was wondering if I should do this swap. My car is 2011 E200 diesel.
