In the early 80s I was loaned one of these from MB (pretty much new then) and pretty basic.
MB did this so I could compete in Copdrive, an International Police motor rally.
That year (the first) was won by a Subaru estate,at that time I had never heard of Subaru. Had the weather been wet, it would have been a different story.
Copdrive went on to become Copshoot (International shooting Competition)
Copdrop (Parachute)

I did sugest to the powers that be that we should also have copulate....

.....interesting I never had a problem....if that an issue what about automatic cars :-0
