Mercedes Manuals

Not a range of manuals that I've come across before. Would anyone care to give a thumbnail review ?
I run a 1989 190e 2.0 auto, and find Haynes pretty frustrating.
I tried a downloaded cd from ebay advertised as "All the variants" but you can guess which one it didn't have.

I had a quick look and this baffled me:

MB_E-Class_CDI_rear.jpg

The dates span two completely different series of the E-class, namely 210 and then the 211. It would certainly be a very thick book if it contained information on both models but the very first line states W210 series which only covered roughly half the time stated on the heading?

I posted the link to these manuals as they might be of interest particularly the first A class model. They may not contain all the information for the models mentioned. A few years back they were "engine only" manuals but they may well cover other parts such as suspension/drive train now ( according to the product description on the website anyway ) If you are thinking of a purchase maybe best to phone first to check.

Hi Grober,
I am certainly not having a go at you and no doubt the manuals might be handy for the A-class.

They do indeed quite clearly state they do not cover bodywork, but I looked because of my interest in the E-class and am concerned in case someone does not know the different type numbers and buys this because they have a 2004 E-class which, contrary to what the manual sates will NOT be a W210 (or even an S210).

regards
John
