So many remapping companies...who is the king of Mercedes remapping?

MSL Performance are very good at mapping and will have a in house DYNO from next week, MSL are specialist in Eurocharged products, there will be a DYNO day on the 18th may at Msl, I think you should pop down and see their work.. You will be very pleased!

On this note, what is a C63 remap cost? I have had one quote today for £1200 + VAT that I though was highly excessive and double anything price I would have thought...!!

That does seem a bit high. Depending on your location either give Acid or Paul (Savman - Watford way) a call, they are both Eurocharged people

This is the email that I had. I will give Paul (Savman) a call as I am Guildford direction.

Our re map really does transform the C63 bringing you up to 530bhp, the car
copes with this very well. The power delivery is very linear, and traction
is very good in the dry. We also de restrict the top speed so you would see
200mph in the right place and conditions. This upgrade takes about 2 ½ hours
and one of my colleagues could come to you to carry out if more convenient,
the retail cost is £1200+VAT and also if the MB dealer updates your software
in the future over-writing our work then we would come and re do for you at
no charge.

We have another option that the CLK63 Black series had a more aggressive
throttle mapping and we can integrate this straight into your car if you
wished at no additional charge.

We should see 0.5 seconds off the 0-60 speed and the 40-80 will be improved
by 1 second.

We store copies of the modified map and the standard map and for three years
following the remap we would return to your car and reinstall the software
should it be deleted during any services or updates. We are also able to
return it to standard if that is required at any time in the future. Our
work is undetectable and we work well within the physical limits of the
engine.

W211 can be mapped remotely, you can do it via Euroflash. We can also assist remotely with the process if you are not comfortable doing it yourself.
