As anyone had experience with a Mercedes Vito when starting the brake pedal is hard then goes to the floor , also could anyone tell me how the glow plugs work ,any help would be appreciated .:bannana:

Pls check that your master cylinder is not knackered.
Sounds like it is. U might need to bleed it. after replacement of faulty bits. dont was it with water when its open otherwise ur rubbers will wear out soon as u refit and put in new fluid. good luck, bleeding needs someone to pump the brake pedal as u release the nipple at the wheels one after another starting with the front wheels.

Does sound like there is air in the system. The pedal though was always a little soft hardening with the engine running. I never bled the brakes of the Vito we had neither the Viano we have now but always thought that you started with the wheel furthest away. Least that is the way it works on our 450. You can do it yourself with a cheap kit that just comprises a rubber tube with a non return valve.
