Mercedes 'W' Codes

Hello all - can anyone point me in the direction of what the mercedes model spec / codes relate to; ie W124 = older model E220.

I want to find out what W code the new E220 CDI is.

Is the E class coupe from 2009 W 207 or C207 ???? I thought it was W207 but more parts come up on flea bay under C 207.

C207 is technically correct for the coupe. The C denotes that it is a 2 door coupe.

Models like the W124 have a S124 for estate, C124 for coupe, R124 for cabrio and the W124 should denote saloon but is often used to encompasses all the derivatives...

I think that you'll find that a W124 cabriolet is given the identity of A124 not R
