Mercedes w124 88 sallon 3.0 fule not flowing

Well it has been a while now and my mercedes is not starting because the fuel is not flowing so i put in a new relay and it still did not start so i triggerd the relay and then it started but soon as i had let gone it stopped and it showes their is fuel in the car on the dials can someone please tell me what is wrong with my mercedes i have ran out off ideas can you please help me

You might have an ignition switch problem. check fuse 7 [16amp]is hot with the ignition on. Reseat the fuse as the contacts can getcorroded

it is not any thing to do with the ignition because when i turn the ignition on i do no hear the fule flowing and when i triggered the relay and turn the key it worked do you no anything about this or what it is please help me

What exactly do you mean by "triggered the relay" ? Do you mean you shorted out the main contacts or supplied12v to the actuating coil?
