Hi all
The batteries in my tyre pressure monitoring sensors have all given up the ghost. Now every time I'm greeted with the tpms warning until I clear it. Its just annoying in an otherwise perfect car.
Seeing as the wheels are in for a refurb I thought I would replace the sensors.
Original mercedes sensors are over £500 (with discount). These are a 433 mhz sensors.
I have come across cheaper options (euro car parts / tpms warehouse / ebay ect ) which are supposedly compatible units for the w215 in 433 mhz. Prices around £180 - £200 for 4.
So, my question is, have any members had any experiences they can share if they have used sensors which are not original?
Any advice / recommendations would be appreciated.
Thank you
