So the tyre place annoyingly put a tyre against the car - that caused the collision alarm .. not a big deal, no harm done (albeit I am annoyed) but how the hell do you reset that warning ?

Every time I open the app I think something is up ...

It's a nightmare and I started a thread on it a while ago to no avail. Mine was activated by lowering it on my lift too quickly, so they're obviously set too sensitively.

They are apparently working on a cure for it according to the email I received but, at the moment, there's nothing you can do as it has to be re-set by Mercedes.

Called support and yes. Update was planned mid June but was delayed. He said one unofficial way is to disable the detection, wait 48hrs and reinstall app. Apparently that cleans it most of the times. I guess there's hope yet.

the classic...switch off and on again :thumb:

I’m amazed it triggers so easily.

The app is rubbish, so expect it to disappoint.

The funny part is. I asked PPF guys to change my tyres, from crappy Pirelli to the PS4 and they asked permissions to drive the car to the tyre dealer. An hour later I get the collision warning so one mail later to the guy I talked to and he panics. So yea, just leaned tyre against the car neither of us was happy with. Anyway, it is ridiculous that it triggers so easily with no way of dismissing. What a stupid design.

I bought the car two weeks ago and only really had it for two as it went straight for PPF.

So far the app caused me more anxiety than anything.

Like 'why the f was the car unlocked at 9pm on a Sunday, followed by door open and shut'.

The best thing is to really just remove it when the car is out for work lol.

Mine has told me it’s unlocked when I’m driving along, but not recently.

PS4S tyres are a good idea. Have them on the front of mine whilst I wear out the rears.

Been seeing your posts on here and PL.

They even rang me back (dude taking the car for tyre change) just to tell me it was a world of difference.
