Hi people. Recently purchased a 2005 180k coupe and noticed the auto folding is not working for the passenger side but its fine for driver side. I can how ever hear a 'click' at the passenger side when pressing the mirror fold button but there's no movement. I've tried spraying with wd40 but no luck. Any help would be appreciated. Than you.

Most common cause is a broken wire where the unit hinges.

You will need to remove it and check the wiring. Sorry I can't advise on it's removal as I've not done one. Lots more knowledgable folk here.

Didn't want you to feel ingored :thumb:

Thanks for the reply. I assumed that because I can hear a click at the mirror when the auto fold button is pressed that it is getting an electric feed but just not operating the motor thus a seized motor or something?

WD40 is not ideal, it does not stick to the parts you wish to lubricate and is also very good at dissolving lubricants that are already there. Try gently pushing the mirror whilst iauto-folding, it will probably then move. Once it folds spray the internal moving parts with lithium grease, it will not run or wash off.
