As some may know, i have recently changed my MAF, sparkplugs and ht leads.

Once the engine has warmed up - I have noticed a slight what could be best described as a misfire?

My acceleration is better than ever and gear changes are also smooth when needed and abrupt/quick when flying but every know and then when idle and around 500rpm I get what seems to be a slight misfire?

Any idea what else this could be? I have read somewhere about a valve? can anyone expand on this?

or am I being a tad pedantic? sometimes its perfect!

My car had the occasional hicup when idling. I used to think it was supermarket fuel.
It would only do it once a month or so, perhaps stalling when parking.
Last week it got a LOT worse, stalling at every junction unless I slipped it into N.
It appears the fault is the throttle actuator, £507 for my car.
I hope this isn't your car's problem.

Well, I hope not... then I would be one very angry person.

But - I think I may have found the problem, the airbox was not on properly.. and gave the maf a push which clicked and its been fine since!

Fingers crossed its not the above..

But I have noticed this very annoying whispy noise when its idling.. its driving me mad!!!!

That's a relief then....
I was hoping my airbox or inlet trunking was loose, alas it was on tight.
