Yes this is correct, try and not sit to near the screen to keep the heat off you condensing onto the glass, if you can stop breathing until the car warms up,so much the better.

as my other post - as it takes 15 mins to warm up, probably not a good idea...

the screen can be a little bit condensated (did I just make a word up?) before you put the demist on, but as soon as you put the blower on, it instantly gets much worse....

Try something , let the coolant warm up without switching on the fan then start the fan up , if you get condensation , it points that water is being held in the heater box .
The reason why you get condensation is that because the temperature of the screen is lower than the dew point of the circulating air - since the screen and ambient are going to be pretty close if the car is kept outside then there must be (obviously) water vapour carried in the air from the heater plenum that is in excess of the ambient conditions.
The real test is to allow the screen to chill , and the heater plenum to wamr up then see what happens .
