Ml 250cdi headlights

Rather than attempt to adjust headlight alignment yourself, it would be better to have it done on an alignment machine -this will ensure it headlight are ok for MoT.
I am interested in how you find the Osram bulbs.

Interesting, I have the new ML 250 cdi as well, without the ILS system, and I think the normal headlights are really good, considering they are not xenon.

Each to their own I suppose.:)

Thanks. Maybe that my originals were out of alignment. My previous car was 350cdi coupe which had Ils. Perhaps I am asking too much of my ML lights!

I tried the nightbreakers in my other car and didnt think much of them, then put some H7 Ring Xenon Ultimates in my ML And glad i did - think they are great! Big difference over standard and imho better than the Osram.

How did you get on changing the bulbs, mine seem to be glued in ,can't budge them.

I was concerned after reading reviews, but took back panel off, unclipped bulb socket and then outbthey came no issues.

The wiring loom on drivers side s in the way, so simply unclipped cable tie with a small screw driver, moved out the way then same process. Other than that, easy enough which was a pleasant surprise.

Side lights next, which for big hands looks like fun to access - so will prob wheel outbthe toddler........

Gas discharge kits are down to about £40, great light especially if the light unit is designed for discharge and last a lot longer as there's no filament to fail
