Hi guys I have just recently bought a mercedes ml 320 2007 great looking car (my first merc) but unfortunately it has an issue the car starts and drives great no issue but when I put my foot down it judders with a loss of power I take my foot off accelerator and slowly put it back on its fine try use the kick down and it judders any info on what this issue would be is much appreciated thanks

Welcome to the forum.

You really need to get the car scanned for fault codes by someone with the Star /Xentry system. It could be many things causing it, Turbo actuator, sticking variable vanes, a sensor issue etc. Has the car got a good service history?

Also, what is the mileage?

I see that you have posted the same question twice?

Hi yeah sorry I'm new to this forum stuff lol car has a really good service history all mercedes dealership with receipts all adding up to 10k for parts and stuff for the car it has only covered 127000 Miles wich I thought was reasonable for it's age but I will try find a garage that will be able to do the scan on it and see if I can get the issue fixed thanks

Was it a private sale or from a Dealer? If from Dealer then take it back.

I would strongly recommend finding a Mercedes specialist. They are good engines so hopefully it will be an easy fix for you.
I assume that the EML isn't on? You could check that the hoses to and from the intercooler are OK with no splits or damage to them

I had a similar problem with this engine in an E Class which was an actuator.

Let us know how you get on 👍👍

Hopefully it will be turbo actuator , exhaust back pressure sensor or swirl flap motor (inlet port motor) .
If you are unlucky it might be the turbo itself .
But as above get it scanned .
You could buy an icarsoft MB2 for £100 if you plan on doing work yourself .
I’m guessing these car faults are why the car was sold ?
