I am new to forum so firstly hi everyone!
I have a 1999 Mercedes ml320 with lpg conversion. I believe the engine is very similar to other 320 petrol models around the same age. It is suffering with a misfire from cylinder number 6. Now at first i thought it was and lpg problem as it was noticeable mostly when running on gas, however i have had the lpg system serviced and filter changed and the lpg technician advised me that i have a misfire on cylinder 6 both on petrol and lpg.
I have since swapped the coil pack with cylinder 4 and got new leads and spark plugs on cylinder 6 however it is still misfiring on 6!
Another strange point is it is intermittent although regular and it nearly always does it on motorways. If it does start misfiring you can reset the ignition and the misfire will stop (for a short while at least) again this is most noticeable whilst running on lpg but have been told that lpg is less forgiving than petrol when it does pick up a misfire. Can anybody help please??
