Hi - Anyone able to recommend a decent supplier of Brake Disks F&R for my ML63AMG - the Fronts are oversized option at 390mm Dia

thanks :thumb:

Mercedes?

Failing that Google is (sometimes!) your friend :)

Trying to avoid Mercedes, which is why I posted on here - thanks for thinking outside the box tho.

Have you priced them from Mercedes?
They were within a couple of £ of ECP Pagid discs for mine.
Don't forget to ask for a discount from MB too. They usually comply.

Ah sarcasm! How very witty!

As stated, MB can often be surprising on price for parts, hence the suggestion!

It makes me laugh when people avoid the dealers at all cost then end up paying more from elsewhere:doh:

I doubt there will be many after market suppliers. Mercedes price their brakes quite reasonably. They have a lot of discount room too so make sure you ask!

Are they as pricey as the ones on the E63?

Look on Ebay I bought disc, pads, wear sensor, and new caliper bolts from Newcastle Mercedes and cost £170 delivered. Spoke to my Local dealer (Lakeside) and was £220.Went in thaere last week to pick up an oil filter and got speaking and they asked 'how much for my oil' I said got 10l for £60 (ECP) they said after that dint you ask us for the 30% discount. The conversation then went down hill and I left lol

Hi and Thanks guys for al the suggestions - turns out my front disks are an optional upgrade to 390mm dia - Yikes !!

Anyway's after much deliberation I bought from Mercedes as these are AMG orginals and to verify - Yes you can get a huge discount - 2x Front crossed drilled and 2x Rear cross Drilled + Wear Sensors and all new Pads = £700 not bad for AMG orginals

Thanks for all the suggestions !!

Pardon my saying but isn't having an AMG63 and looking for cheap parts a bit like ordering foie gras and putting ketchup on it?

is this recent as im lookin for the same for mine, thanks

ive just phoned mercedes or teeside (local) and there price is £1600 lowered to £1280 for 2x rear 2x front, pads all round and wear sensors for 390mm fronts?
is newcastle really £700? i can drive up there if thats the case

Update on the ML63 brakes, Apec now make discs for them as of 08/17, I have a rear set on mine, come with black painted hubs, quality unit.
Brembo rear pads are identical the OEM but the fronts still not available without the Mercedes logo on Brembos.

I got a quote from MB parts coventry and the set all round was £1749.90 inc vat so thats why I did some digging.
This is only for the later ML63 166 but front Apec discs DSK 3239 £170 the pair and DSK 3238 are the rears £107.51 the pair.
Brembo rear pads identical to MB are around £60 plus the sensor and front Genuine pads but still Brembo A0074205920 £178.92 with sensor.

I did look at that above and still cannot even get close, it still beggars belief that a TRW and Mercedes are stamped on the back of the same pads!
You can buy TRW pads for the ML very cheap ate euro car parts and even cheaper online.
