Looks good, but HOW much... I paid just over 6K less for my 2007, admittedly on 100k miles, but very good service history and not needing too much doing, last July.

Try Googling Blythsford Motor Company, incidentally; nothing comes up except on Autotrader. Hmmmmm... No Companies House listing, mobile phone number only. I may be being unfair, but I detect a whiff of rodent. Good luck getting any help or refund if there's a problem...

I thought it looked alright tbh and not badly priced for the condition/mileage?

Wow only 66k and just 3 owners, pretty good 👍

If it's a genuine ad by a genuine seller...

If what’s genuine - the mileage?

FULL MERCEDES BENZ SERVICE HISTORY, 12 MONTHS MOT, PREVIOUS OWNER OWNED FOR THE LAST 13 YEARS

Obviously there’s things that can not be as they seem with any vehicle, but this doesn’t have the hallmarks of that considering the above?

I think you edited your post above Dennis whilst I was replying :)

You're right, Will, I did. Comparing the wear on the steering wheel buttons to mine, the mileage probably is genuine, but the purported business seller rings an alarm bell with me.

Probably one of your favourites, small time trader?

Maybe he's sold too many cars to get away with being a private seller, so now he's masquerading as a legitimate business instead?

Admittedly I'm a suspicious old git, but a motor trader with just one car to sell?

Maybe his cars are so good that all the others got sold!!!

He doesn't have to be registered with Companies House, but: a used car trader with no internet presence at all except an ad in Auto Trader? There's a Blythsford Road in Birmingham, but that's all Google comes up with.

There may be a perfectly innocent explanation, but I'd need some convincing.

Everyone’s got to start somewhere I guess

I mean one car, no fancy premises?

Really doesn’t read like a bad car or advert to me - I’ve seen some dodgy looking cars and adverts but I wouldn’t have put this up there in that category.

I agree, it seems like a nice genuine car, but since the company supposedly selling it would appear not to exist, as I said earlier, "Good luck getting any help or refund if there's a problem...".

PARTS/LABOUR WARRANTY INCLUDED, ALL CARD PAYMENTS ACCEPTED

Pay some (or all!) of it via credit card? That’s assuming that something about the car (and seller, and/or warranty) really doesn’t go as it should and your worst fears come true.

I’d suggest the same advice for any trade car purchase if possible tbh.
