Battery question.
I've got a car in storage over the winter, and like an idiot I forgot to disconnect the battery. The gentle drain of the alarm system and associated stuff has now flattened the battery to the point where it reads 1.4v across the terminals.
Probably in that kind of deep discharge it's beyond salvation, but I figure it's worth a go at charging it up anyway (otherwise it's straight to the dump, fortunately about 400 yards away). Any recommendations as to what type of charging regime to have a go at? Trickle charge or give it the full beans and watch it boil/swell up like a rugby ball?
Cheers,
Gaz
