Morning with the w246

Spent the morning detailing my little w246 b180.
126k and she still comes up lovely.
Simoniz snow foam and wash two bucket method Followed by a machine polish using Meguirs Ultimate Polish, finished off with Meguirs Gold class paste wax.
Megs tyre and trim gel on the door rubbers tyres and black trim.

Thank you peeps, I’ve done around 7 thousand miles in it and although it has the 1.5 Renault derived engine it’s been pretty good.
Only real issue was the thermostat, I changed this along with the timing belt waterpump and auxiliary belt.

The drivers seat was also split on the base so i sourced one from Germany and fitted that which was very straight forward.

Also changed the analog climate to the digital one with a rest button

I had the car remapped with a eco map as 109hp was really underpowered.
It’s got abit more torque and can achieve just over 76mpg on a run but high 60’s is the usual.
