Well this was a 1st for me detailing a Classic, more difficult than the modern stuff.

Light swirls on boot lid and a exterior detail,
Snow foam to start, dry then the boot lid.
Clay bar then Da to remove the swirls.

Took a couple of passes with the da and Megs ultimate compound but got it done,

Megs Ultimate polish I find is great for dark colours, finish sealed with gold class paste wax.

Nice job but who's the poster boy, you just had to get your face in it :D nice job though.
 
Lovely job; I'm guessing it's Damask red which is one of those colours that can look really dull or great once it's polished up like your job. Once had a GT in that colour that I was going to respray in Damask red after I'd finished the welding, but I divorced the owner before it got to that stage. :rolleyes: Shame as it was turning out to be a nice car and was a chrome bumper model too.
