Hi guys.
Thought it was about time I introduce myself.
I'll use the name Mr Man.
So not too long ago(around 2 months ago) I decided to go to the auction to have a look at what cars they had on offer(was a Mercedes Benz sale).
Wasn't too sure what model I wanted, all I knew is that it had to be a little bigger then my previous car which was a Honda integra dc5(I've always been a Honda man as they are the most reliable cars I have owned), plus they had the added vtec which is so much fun.
But things were changing in my life and the missus kept telling me to get a more comfortable car. I've had audi's and bmw's before so I knew my next choice was a Mercedes after never owning one.
Luckily there was a Mercedes sale at Nottingham auctions so I decided to go a day before auction started to have a ganders around.
My first choice was a Mercedes e class coupe but after seeing the c class coupe I knew this had to be mine.
There were afew going through the next day.
I had my eyes set on a gray as it was so clean and looked the best out of the other colours that we're going through.
So next day had come. Off I went to the auction, ready and waiting for the gray to go though, as I thought it went over book price!!!!
I knew there were afew more that we're going though so I decided to wait.
A black one turned up which looked as though it needed abit of work on the paint, I'm quite handy with car detailing so this didn't put me off.
To my luck I won the auction!
Specs:
2013 obsidian black c220
31000miles
1 owner being Mercedes Benz Northampton.
Full Mercedes service history
Manual(which is what I wanted).
16"tiny alloy wheels
Full black leather interior
I was more then happy with what I had purchased.
So off I went to the back of the parking lot to inspect it better, I was quite shocked at how the paint work was. I was actually abit worried that I couldn't correct the paint as I was worse then I expected.
Well I'm my mind I had bought it and there was no point in worrying about this so much.
Off I went home and the next day got stuck into correcting the paint work.
Lucky my skills were better then I thought! The car has turned out amazing.
I'm abit of a freak when it comes to modifying cars so not long after I got a set of 19" amg wheels, had the car lowered on h&r super sport springs, tinted out the windows and slapped on a piano black amg grille.
Here are some pictures for you guys.
Comments welcome good or bad. I won't get offended lol.
I still have many more things to do but money is a issue so things will come in time.
Thanks for listening to my gibberish.
Silly me never took a picture of the car when I picked it up!
Put the grille on straight away.
So I was in a rush to get rid of the crappy 16" rims.
Off I went to Tamworth to pick up a set of 20"khan rims which to my disappointment did not fit at all lol. These rims came off a Mercedes SL brabus. 11" wide at the rears lol
So the day after I went to pick up the 19". So much happier but it was sitting as high as a giraffe
Springs turned up not long after, got them installed ASAP
Before and after
Got the tints on last Tuesday. So much happy with the way the car looks at the moment.
Will keep you guys updated with mods and so on.
Next will hopefully be carbon front lip and rear spoiler.
Then off with the coupe rear bumper and changed with the quad bumper with carbon diffuser.
Hope you guys enjoyed.
