My Becker Map Pilot wont work

I have recently bought a 2014 A Class 180 and I am trying to get the sat nav to work.
I have the ‘no navigation module is connected’ message come up.
I have unplugged the module and put it back in, made sure its clicked in, take it all apart to check it all, tried to plug it into my laptop but it wont come up on there.
The instructions in the box arent in English and the guides online dont help as I have tried everything! I tried to contact Becker but they never responded.
Anyone have any idea??

the internal battery may be toast- there's a small reset button on the side accessed by a pinhole-have you tried that?

As a general principle before using any downloadable Becker software TO INTERACT with the BOX try to use a computer with contemporary software/operating system to the BECKER --- Later software may not have appropriate drivers? The product software was pretty clunky even when new!

I can confirm that it works on Win 8.1 and Becker also state it should be OK on Win 10; you need to download the Content Manager Setup.exe from the Becker website.
